Arab-African Council for Economy: Supporting Burkina Faso is a Top Priority for the Next Phase


Ambassador Yasser El-Bakhashwan, First Vice President of the Arab-African Council for Economy, stated that supporting the government of Burkina Faso is a top priority for the upcoming phase and the Council's first step in this current period. He added that the Burkinabe people deserve support in all fields and that the country is a leading model for attracting Arab investments to Burkina Faso.
El-Bakhashwan further added that the outstanding governmental performance of Dr. Bruno, Director of the Presidential Office for National Projects, plays a significant role in reassuring investors. He emphasized that Dr. Bruno plays a prominent national role in working to attract investments from all over the world and supports the presence of investments in the country through communication channels and a professional team under his leadership.
The First Vice President of the Arab-African Council for Economy confirmed that important opportunities and projects in the country are on the implementation table of the Council's senior management. He stressed that city planning, infrastructure, and overcoming traffic congestion are the most important logistical priorities that support the investment structure in the country.
He added that smart transportation is key to facilitating transactions, attracting investment, and ensuring stability.
Among the national projects targeted by the Council is focusing on airport development and supporting investment financing to bring about a boom in the performance of the Burkinabe national economy. He affirmed that with Counselor Hany Abu Zeid serving as a UN advisor and due to the Council's advisory capacity, the Council supports the humanitarian aspect and the rights of displaced people, who are most deserving of support. The Council aims to enhance the Burkinabe government's performance to provide assistance to the displaced and eliminate the extreme poverty suffered in parts of the country.
He also confirmed that the Arab-African Council for Economy has been granted a license to operate to achieve this vision for the free Burkinabe leadership. He added that Mr. Abdullah Sanaa has been chosen as the regional director for the Council's office in the capital, Ouagadougou, given his experience, which qualifies him to manage these files in cooperation with his country's national government.
