Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy: Cooperation with Gulf Expo Enhances Support for Training and Education Programs


In a significant step to boost educational and scientific development prospects, Counselor Hani Abu Zaid, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy, along with Ambassador Yasser Al-Bakhshwan, Vice Chairman of the Council, and Nabil Al-Gharib, Head of the Supreme Advisory Board, signed a cooperation protocol with Her Excellency Sheikha Noora bint Khalifa Al Khalifa in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The protocol aims to adopt and support the Gulf Expo in its fourth and subsequent editions.
Ambassador Yasser Al-Bakhshwan, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy, stated that the signing of the cooperation protocol aims to support training and education programs designed to enhance the scientific level of citizens in Arab countries and African nations. He clarified that this ambitious cooperation is part of strategic partnerships with prestigious international and local universities located in the Middle East, ensuring the provision of the highest quality in educational and training programs. He noted that Her Excellency Sheikha Noora has, throughout her career, contributed to supporting Arab education and standing by educational entities in the Arab world to promote the message of university education. This is the ultimate goal of the Gulf Expo, as it actively supports the future of students in obtaining internationally accredited, high-quality education at minimal costs, driven by Her Excellency's belief in the mission of spreading knowledge and its role in the advancement of Arab societies.
He added that this initiative affirms the pivotal role played by the region's countries in supporting human development and empowering future generations, and in strengthening the position of education as a fundamental pillar of progress and prosperity. He emphasized the senior management's determination to present efficient and leading Arab entities in fulfilling the mission of educating Arab-African peoples and providing educational scholarships for students through universities that offer such support to nations, with the aim of spreading knowledge and supporting students.
Both Ambassador Yasser Al-Bakhshwan and Her Excellency Sheikha Noora bint Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed their sincere appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its wise leadership, especially His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, for his continuous support of initiatives aimed at serving humanity.
He concluded by highlighting that the meeting reaffirmed the historical and civilizational role of Egypt as a beacon of science and civilization since the dawn of history, and expressed pride in the Arab-Egyptian identity that supports and enhances pride across all corners of the Earth.
